MONTHLY RUN/WALK: Aug 6, starting at 7 am at PAFB, and 7:30 am at CCAFS.
IRON MAN/WOMAN COMPETITION: Runs Aug 16 - 20, from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm and includes swimming, cycling and running. Sign up NLT Aug 13. Commander's Cup Points will be awarded.
WATER POLO: Monthly Ladder Challenge runs Aug 2 - 31 at the lap pool. Games are scheduled during off-peak times and around regular lap pool programs. Team captains or PTLs must call the program POC to schedule games. Commanders Cup Points will be awarded.
BANANA RIVER SWIM & KAYAK RACE - Friday, Jul 30, starting a 8 am at the Outdoor Recreation docks. There is a mandatory safety briefing for all participants at 7:45 am. This is a team event and three team members are required to participate. One team member swims out and around a buoy for a total of 500 yards. The next two team members kayak out and around a buoy for a total of 1,000 yards. Commander’s Cup Points will be awarded! Register by COB on Wednesday, Jul 28.
FAMILY AQUATIC FITNESS PROGRAM: Runs thru Fri Sep 10; on Mon, Wed and Fri at 9:30 - 10:30 am and 4:45 - 5:45 pm at the Lap Pool.
MONTHLY LADDER CHALLENGE - FLICKER BALL thru Jul 30, Mon & Wed from 3:30 - 4:30 pm in the gym.
WALK ACROSS THE SOLAR SYSTEM PEDOMETER CHALLENGE: Program runs through Aug 31. Parents can register and receive a pedometer for each family participant.

BACK TO BASICS - INCENTIVE PROGRAM (PHASE 1-4) DESCRIPTION: The program will run for the entire year to facilitate lifestyle change and is divided into four phases so that re-assessment of progress and individual goals can occur on a timely basis for motivational purposes. All phases run from 8 am to 4 pm at both PAFB and CCAFS Fitness Centers. Phase 3: Jul 15 - Sep 24, Phase 4: Oct 7 - Dec 16

WATER AEROBICS CLASSES Tuesdays from 8:30 - 9:30 am at the lap pool. Check with your physician prior to engaging in any exercise program. The lap pool depth:
4 to 8 ft and water floatation devices are available. Active duty, reservists and National Guard on active orders have priority. Two lanes remain available for swimmers at all times.
